Justin Howoong Kim passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on August 28th, 2022 in Boston, MA. Born in South Korea, he graduated from Seoul National University Law School in South Korea and Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Illinois with a Masters in Science of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture. He practiced acupuncture for over 20 years. In addition to healing patients with acupuncture, he brought tremendous joy to many with his witty humor. He had a deep faith and was an active member of St. Paul Chong Hasang Catholic Church in Des Plains, IL and St. Antoine Daveluy Parish at Corpus Christi in Auburndale, MA.

He is survived by his loving wife Sylvia, daughters Yoona and her husband Steve Mennen, Angelina and her husband Javier Lerones Gallego and grandsons Aiden and Dashiell.

Visiting hours will be Thursday September 1, 2022 from 4-7pm at Burke and Blackington Funeral Home in West Newton, MA. Memorial mass will be held September 2, 2022 at 10:30am at St Antoine Daveluy Parish at Corpus Christi in Auburndale, MA. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in his name to his parish, St Antoine Daveluy Parish at Corpus Christi in Auburndale, MA.
