Jane Hemstreet née Impellitier born August 27, 1937 died peacefully on Wednesday, June 15, at the age of 84. Jane was originally from Buffalo, NY, the youngest child of Carl and Florence Impellitier. In 1961, she married Russell Hemstreet, with whom she lived in Buffalo NY, Bernardsville NJ, and finally settled in Dover, MA. She was known by friends and strangers to be a kind, gentle, and loving soul, and she will be especially missed by the Fox Hill Community in Westwood, where she spent her final years. Jane enjoyed playing Bridge, socializing with Friends and was a faithful member of the Parish of the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Waban, MA.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Carl and Ken Impellitier, Ada Carbone, Joanne Koch and husband, Russell Hemstreet. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Jane Hemstreet, of Barrington, NH, and grandson, Benjamin Spain, of Lynchburg, VA.

Visitation will be Friday, June 24, 2022, at Burke and Blackington Funeral Home in West Newton, MA, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Graveside internment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Dover Cemetery, the Reverend Michael Bousquet presiding.
