Obituary for Colleen Cappellucci (Coyle)

Colleen Cappellucci (nee Coyle) of Osterville, formerly of Wayland passed away on July 10th after a miraculous battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, David, and three adoring children, Leah, Paul, and John, as well as her brother, John Coyle, and sister, Kathleen Coyle.

Born and raised in Newton, Colleen later settled in Wayland to raise her family. She devoted 14 years to nurturing Kindergarteners as a Teaching Assistant in the Wayland Public Schools before becoming an Orton-Gillingham tutor for struggling readers. She was a woman of deep faith, a runner, a generous friend, and an avid Boston sports fan. Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, aunt, and sister. She lived as an example of grace, compassion, and faith. Everyone who met her was better for it.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday, July 14 from 4-7PM in the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home 1479 Washington St. West Newton. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 15, at 10AM in the Trinitarian Congregational Church, 53 Cochituate Rd. Wayland. Interment will be private.
