William “Kelly” Bowker, 62 of Framingham MA and Walton NY died comfortably on Friday December 11, 2020 after a brief battle with COVID-19.

Kelly graduated from Walton Central High School in 1976 where he excelled in football, wrestling and FFA.

After high school Kelly worked at Kraft Breakstones for almost 20 years before taking a job with Union local 88 digging tunnels in Boston. Most recently he was employed by Pro-tech Solar Energy as a site supervisor building Solar Farms throughout the northeast.

Kelly dedicated his life to his family and friends- spending all of his free time visiting and traveling to see them. He was most happy doing anything that involved family, especially at the Families Hunting Cabin and spoiling his grandchildren.

Kelly is survived by his companion of more than 20 years Cindy Mahoney, Children: Kenknee (Evan) Bowker, Kris (Patti) Bowker, Korey (Kylee) Bowker, Kasey (Victoria) Bowker, Courtney Mahoney, Grandchildren: Trista (Kal), Taylor (Elizabeth), Carter, Dawson , Kimber, and Hadlee Bowker and Great-Grandchildren: Dana and Lydia. Siblings: Pam Howland, Ona Henderson, Dan (Jean) Bowker, James (Linda) Bowker, Roger (Debbie) Bowker, Deb (Rich) Goodrich and Shawn (Terry) Hitt plus many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Kelly was pre-deceased by his Parents, Orson “Chub” Bowker and Barbara O’Hara Bowker and one Brother-in-law , Theron Howland.

A celebration of Kelly’s life will be held at a later date and Friends and Family will be invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Kelly’s name to the Barbara Bowker Irrevocable Trust to support continuous family use of the Cabin by visiting the following gofundme page or by sending checks payable to Shawn Hitt Trustee to PO Box 65 Boonville, NY 13309.

We are very sad to hear the passing of Kelly. We not only worked with Kelly but we were good friends. We had so much fun working with him he could light up a room just by walking in with his beauty smile
He could also clear out te break room after he had been drinking beer and eating hard boiled eggs the night before but we all loved him and will miss him. God Bless Kelly and his family.
