G. Richard Reney, age 86, died peacefully at the Medway Country Manor on February 11, 2018. Born June 13, 1931, Manchester NH to Arthur and Lillian Reney of Grafton NH. A graduate of Holy Cross, he also completed several advanced degrees, including a doctorate of philosophy from the University of Missouri. Richard was a long-time resident of Farmington, MO and was employed for 25 years as the Director of Theatre and an additional 5 years as Director of Theatre Emeritus at Mineral Area College until retiring in 2001.
He is predeceased by his beloved sister, Anne Reney Doherty of Wellesley, MA and survived by nephew, Daniel Doherty of Woburn, MA, niece Amy Stinehour and her husband Mark of Franklin, MA, grand-nephews Nicholas and Benjamin Stinehour, and many cherished cousins and friends.
Services will be held Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 11am in St. John the Evangelist Parish, 9 Glen Rd., Wellesley, MA with burial immediately following in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham.
