Obituary for John Francis Dunn

Dunn, John Francis (Jack), was born in Framingham, MA to Paul C. Dunn, Sr. and his wife, Frances Louise Silverman on July 25, 1934. He was their second son. He was raised in Framingham. MA and was a graduate of Framingham High School. After honorable service in the United States Army, he joined the US Postal Services in Framingham where he retired after over 30 plus years.

Jack loved the New England Patriots and was probably their most loyal fan. He was a sports enthusiast and often attended professional games. As an avid reader of history, particularly of Roman Catholic history, U.S political history and current events, he became the family expert.

Those who knew Jack well, often remarked about his frequent luck winning the local lottery and also horse and dog races. When people would mention luck, he always said the luckiest day in his life was meeting and marrying his wife, Charlene Phippen Dunn.

(Barbara) Dunn (Brighton, MA), Robert P. Dunn (Framingham, MA), two sisters-in-law, Alda C.
