Marie Ecker Duffy of South Yarmouth, formerly of Milton died peacefully June 6, 2017 at the age of 104. Ms. Duffy was the youngest daughter of James V. and Marie (Ecker) Duffy. She worked for many years as an administrative assistant at the Lahey Clinic before her retirement to the Cape with her two sisters. An accomplished pianist, Ms. Duffy loved both listening to and performing classical pieces. She was the beloved aunt to Alice D. and the late Paul D. Campanella, of Wellesley; Paul C. Duffy and wife Sheilagh of Falmouth; Francis J. Duffy and wife Noel S. of Boston and Kennebunkport, ME; and Charles E Duffy, Jr. and wife Jane C. of Westwood. A devoted great-aunt, she loved visiting with her 11 grand-nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, June 10 at 10AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 9 Glen Rd. Wellesley followed by interment in Milton Cemetery.
