Sherring, Albert, 06/03/1925-01/27/2017, Passed away peacefully on January 27, 2017, with family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Dr Shanta Sherring. Cherished father of daughter Dr Asha Sherring and her husband Shirish Dandekar of Hopkinton and son Neil Sherring and his wife Yoshika of Westwood. Loving grandfather to Gita and Raj Dandekar and Vijay and Curren Sherring. Brother of Mrs Kiran Waleski of Atlanta, GA and brother to the late Walter and Alfred Sherring. Uncle to many loving nieces and nephews and their children. Albert was born in Kanpur, India to Abiel and Bela Sherring. He attended Ewing Christian College in Allahabad, India. He emigrated to the US in 1957 and completed his graduate degree in sociology at Boston University. He was a professor at Curry College in Milton for over 40 years. He married Shanta (Radiah) in 1960 in Cambridge. He retired in 2010 and spent his time caring for his wife, playing chess, enjoying music and Urdu poetry and spending time with his family.
