Quinlan and the late Paul of Newtonville, Ann M. Hudson and the late Frank of W. Newton and the late David J., Jr. and Raymond D. Barry. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Robert was a longtime foreman for the City of Newton Public Works Department. Funeral service will be held in the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington St., (Rte. 16), West Newton, Friday, October 28 at 11:00 AM. Visiting hours Thursday evening from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. Interment private. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made in Bob's memory to the Vernon Cancer Center, C/O Newton Wellesley Hospital, 2014 Washington St., Newton, MA 02465.
