Mona Iverson, 85, of Harrah, OK formerly of Watertown, MA went to be with her Heavenly Father March 15, 2016. She was born June 8, 1930 in Worcester, Mass to Hugh Henry McArdle, Sr. and Ora Blanch Messier McArdle. She graduated from Watertown High School June 8, 1949. She donated her time along with her mother, being actively involved with the National Woman's Relief Corps; auxiliary to the Grand Army of the Republic. She worked in retail for most of her years as a loyal employee up to the age of 84. She balanced her life with activities that she enjoyed such as bowling, Red Sox Baseball, roller skating (as a youth), sewing, selling Avon and traveling. Mona was preceded in death by her parents Ora B. Messier and Hugh McArdle, Sr., Brother Hugh H. McArdle, Jr., sister, Mary Frances Garrison. She is survived by Daughter Ramona Parker and husband Jeff; Daughter Judith Melson and husband Rick; Daughter Susan Iverson and Son Keith Iverson, grandchildren Carl, Rick, Jonathan, Cassandra, Kelly, Jamie and Kyle; and 17 great grandchildren A grave site memorial service will be Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at St Patrick's Cemetery, 999 Belmont St, Watertown, MA 02472. A gathering location will be announced at the grave site service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alzheimer's Foundation of America, American Cancer Association, American Heart Association or a charity of your choice .
