Condolences

Condolence From: Richard Shannon
Condolence: I met Jim about ten years ago at a local billiards league, and we became friends. As we were both retired, we use to meet on week-days to practice together. We drifted apart when I stopped playing billiards, but only recently re-connected. We were about to join a local billiards league as partners, and were both looking forward to the experience. Sadly, we never got that chance. Rest in Peace, Jimmy...You'll be missed.

Condolence From: Andi Doane
Condolence: I got to know Jim through an organization called Neighbors Who Care. I was a volunteer and got matched with Jim. Jim and I would go on various outings to get ice cream, eat tacos, explore local museums or even browse the aisles of Microcenter. I was so impressed with Jim's care and love for his dog, Little George. At one point, Jim had to give George IV fluids. He asked me to assist him on the first time and had everything neatly laid out when I arrived. I could tell George was nervous, but the minute Jim picked him up and put him in his lap, he relaxed and allowed Jim to insert the needle. After George died, we reminisced for weeks about the memories Jim had with Little George. What started off as a volunteer/client relationship turned into a friendship! I'm so glad to have known Jim this last year and feel my life is so much more richer for having shared it with him.
