Survived by longtime companion Patricia Sweeney of Malden and her children, Jayne Gourdeau, Kimberly Gaines, Richard Sweeney, Danielle Sweeney and Pat's grandchildren as well as many loving family, friends and co-workers. Longtime foreman for the City of Newton. Family and friends will gather in the Burke & Blackington Funeral Home, 1479 Washington St., (Rte. 16), West Newton, Wednesday evening from 4:00 - 7:00 PM.
